The approach empowers caregivers to make decisions that best meet the needs of the elderly, moving beyond traditional assistance to foster independence and dignity. Around 60 million people worldwide are living with heart failure (HF), and it is a rapidly growing public health issue. Half of these patients have HF with a left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) of ≥40%, also known as mildly reduced or preserved ejection fraction. Heart Failure is a key focus area for us, and #TeamBayer remains committed to advancing new treatment approaches for cardiovascular and kidney diseases with high unmet medical needs.
